Privacy Policy
Last updated: February 20, 2026
1. 100% Private, Client-Side Processing
The fundamental principle of Mimic is your absolute privacy. We do not upload, store, or process any of your generated mockups or imported images on our servers. Every chat, image, text, and profile picture you configure in our tool is rendered entirely within your own web browser.
2. Information We Collect
While the images and content you create remain on your device, we do collect limited account information if you choose to sign up for an account to save templates or buy credits:
- Authentication Data: Your name, email address, and profile picture (via Google authentication).
- Usage Data: We track how many credits you have available and when you spend them (e.g., exporting an unwatermarked image).
- Saved Templates: If you explicitly choose to "Save" a mockup, the configuration data (JSON text) is saved to our database so you can load it later across devices.
3. Analytics and Cookies
We use basic, privacy-respecting analytics to understand how much traffic our site receives and which tools are most popular. We may also use local storage and standard cookies to keep you logged into your account and remember your editor preferences (like theme or export resolution).
4. Third-Party Services
We rely on trusted third parties to provide essential services:
- Firebase: Used for secure authentication and managing your account credits.
- Stripe: Used for all credit and subscription payments. We do not store your credit card information directly on our servers.
5. Your Rights
If you have created an account, you have the right to request the deletion of your account and all associated data at any time. Simply use the delete account option in your profile settings or reach out to us at our support email.
6. Changes to this Policy
We may occasionally update this Privacy Policy. When we do, we will post the updated policy on this page and update the "Last updated" date at the top. We encourage you to review this policy periodically.
